Code is like a West Coast offense in football.
A lot of jargon to throw a 4 yard timing route.
A modern day adaptation would be the Broncos offense. A lot of ‘if the defense does this then you do this’ stuff.
Minus the ‘Hurry! Hurry!’ and ‘Omaha!’ of course.
It comes down, on one level, as pattern recognition. People call it the tendencies of the defense. In the case of code, it’s the tendencies or facts of a particular tool such as a syntax.
