I love it when people protest. They stand outside and chant things like “This isn’t over!” A lot of times they act like religious heresy is happening and other times they just protest Chik-Fil-A.
You might know where I’m going with this so I’ll go there anyway. People, you’re protesting a fast food restaurant. Yes the President came out against gay marriage. But isn’t the real reason you’re protesting is the fact that they aren’t open on Sunday’s?
Now Jeff Bezo’s, founder and CEO or Amazon.com, gave $2.5 million to help get gay marriage passed in Washington state. Is there a protest outside of Amazon.com’s headquarters that I’m not aware of?
Whatever your feelings are about this subject it’s cool. For me, I’m still going to eat at Chik-Fil-A when I get the chance and if I have to fight off protestors to get a chicken sandwich and a sweet tea then so be it.
I’m probably going to buy something from Amazon.com by the end of the day or at least pick up my Kindle and read about how people are protesting. And if I could, I’d do this while eating the chicken sandwich from Chik-Fil-A.
